Vegetable Cultivation

We grow seasonally popular vegetables to provide safe and quality feed for DELCO Farm itself and the DELCO Group ecosystem.

Vegetables are grown in soil, prioritized with organic fertilizers and clean water for healthy growth and natural resistance of vegetable crops. Pesticides are used only when necessary. Also, we only apply approved pesticides and strictly comply with the regulations on withholding periods.

Herbicides are completely not allowed on weeds in the cultivated zones at DELCO Farm. Instead, weeds are only controlled by physical methods: lawn mowers, black tarps, etc.

CULTIVATION AT DELCO FARM

PREPARATION OF SOIL

The farm area is isolated from the outside with hard fences and the cultivated zones are arranged separately in greenhouses.
The used soil is the organic one that has been verified of origin, disinfected and treated to ensure soil porosity and nutrition before each crop.

All vegetable seeds used by DELCO Agri are optimal in term of genes, ensuring the crop quality.
The sowing and nurturing crops in juvenile and mature phase follow strict protocols regarding nutrition and pest control.
Organic fertilizers are also used, including processed fish emulsion, chicken manure, etc. in order to supply nutrients through basal fertilization for higher productivity, resistance and produce quality.

HARVEST

We actively withhold for a period of 14 days before harvest to ensure produce safety.
After harvest, the produce will be delivered to distributors within 24 hours to ensure its freshness and best quality for consumers.
